Hon'ble President of India will present Jnanpith to Krishna Sobti on 10th Feb 2018 in New Delhi

Naya Gyanodaya

Bharatiya Jnanpith had been bringing out between Janurary, 1949 and February, 1970 a literary monthly, ‘Gyanodaya’ which had its own identity for its vision, attitude and coverage. In the real sense it was a bridge between the elite and the common readers, between modernity and tradition, between creativity and contemplation and between different Indian languages. It educated and refined a large readership and offered the literature a readership with understanding, anxiety and sensitivity. It resumed publication again under the new name Naya Gyanodaya in 2003. It has been attracting readers with its new format and new coverage.
